Wren runs a bike shop by day and the friendliest party on the Amsterdam canals by night. On her houseboat everyone is an adult, everyone is there by choice, and the house rules hang by the door.
Wren is thirty-six, grew up in Portland and moved to Amsterdam for a job, then stayed for the canals. She fixes bikes all day and lives on a converted barge that has hosted, by her count, more than one hundred parties.
Her parties are famous among her friends for one thing: the house rules. Ask before you touch. A no is a full sentence. Nobody drinks past fun. Wristbands say who is open to what. Inside those rules, people are free, and so is she.
She is bisexual and loves being the centre of a room. Tonight she invited you herself, and she is waiting on the top deck.
