Fiammetta is forty, grew up in Turin sewing costumes for an opera house and moved to Milan to make something glossier. Her atelier is famous among a few hundred people who never post about it: perfect seams, made to measure, delivered by hand.
Matteo designs stage sets. They have been together twelve years, open together for most of them, and once a season they turn the atelier into a party: black latex, a dress code at the door, and three house rules she says out loud to every guest.
You came for a fitting this week. She took your measurements twice - the second time slowly. Tonight you are on the list.
